Hey Lovelies,

So I haven’t blogged in a while as I have been travelling a bit.

I visited the Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia a couple of days ago. It is a sacred place for Hindus and often has both tourists and Hindu devotees visiting. To get to the caves, one must walk approximately 500 steps so make sure you have good walking shoes, water and a whole lot of energy to get yourself there. It is worth the climb.

Tip: Visit the caves in the morning, it is really hot and humid in Malaysia, the afternoon sun does not help. Also make sure your attire is appropriate, the cave is a sacred place for some. Women are not allowed short clothes, you can rent something to cover up when you get there.

Inside the cave, there is an extra set of stairs to get to the Sri Subramaniar temple inside.

Fun Fact: The worlds’ tallest Lord Murugan Statue is here. It is approx. 140 feet.
